Fantastic layout which brings back happy memories. Are you able to do a video from line view arround your layout with a mini camera ?

I remember sitting on the grassy knoll ( not that one lol) by the shed on a weekend taking numbers back in 79/80 and the Tinsley open days

Hi Dave, so good to see your layout back on UA-cam regularly again. Few years ago you mentioned the possiblity of building London Paddington, did you manage get that going?

I'm an American modeler who models nothing but American prototypes, but that may change very soon, as I throughly want one of these Cavalex class 56 models in a big way. To say I'm impressed with this model would be a understatement!! I may wait on a class 60 though, as I don't know yet!! Cavalex models just may have set the high bench mark for all manufactures!!

Brilliant video Dave Gilmour and James Cullen I do love the new cavalax class 56, and I was lucky to see one of the 56 of Daves run round westhillwagonworks layout when I was over there a couple of weekends ago thanks Dave.

Great video. I have just got the same 56 093 Tinsley model. Amazing stunning model and sound. Have you tried the heavy load function. There is a massive bass hum. Great for pulling HAA hoppers. Richard

Great review but bit unfair with sound decoders, Hornby budget £60 compared to Locksound £120 no comparison, Cavalex 56 looks fantastic 👍

Hi Dave & James Great to see a video from you guys. The 56 is fantastic and so it should be with all the extra parts. Still like the look of the old Hornby Romainian model, it's stands up pretty well from a few feet away when running past but closer inspection its blown away, I've got 56008 and would love another, fingers crossed for a lottery win lol Cheers Paul 👍🙂
